Showgrounds Offers Free Storage to Local Retail Businesses Affected by Flooding

The Showgrounds Shopping Centre, Davis Road, Clonmel today has offered support to local retail businesses affected by the recent flooding. According to Julian Smith, Centre Manager, “We have some spare storage capacity at the Showgrounds and we are offering any local retail businesses that storage space temporarily, free of charge for any stock that they might need to store while they clean up their units.  Thankfully, we have not been affected by the flooding but our thoughts are with those traders who have been. All our storage is secure with 24 security on site, dry and easily accessed and we would like to try and accommodate as many local traders we can. Julian Smith goes on to say that, “Also, if any local residents are concerned about their cars, we are more than happy to accommodate car parking for local residents on the roof of the car park here.”
