We can only do this by continuous improvement in all aspects of the Showgrounds experience from ease of parking to flexible opening hours. Since we opened, we have endeavoured to adapt and refine the activities of the centre each year to remain both cost-effective for our tenants and deliver a high level of quality for our visitors.”

Many of the Showgrounds suppliers and staff have been with the scheme since it opened and the team prides itself on an enviable safety record and a very friendly, almost family atmosphere to the Centre as a result.

M&S opened in June 2009 with the rest of the Centre inaugurated by An Taoiseach on 16th October 2009.

A series of special events were held during 2019 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Centre.
