Kicking Off 2020 with strong growth

 
It was a busy year at the Showgrounds in 2019 with 1,623,768 visitors to the Showgrounds in 2019. This represents a 10.86% increase on 2018 figures with an average of 31,000 visitors each week to the Shopping Centre.  These strong numbers are complemented by the large increase in amount of vehicles coming into the Centre from 582,988 to 646,941.  With our great list of brands and free parking for 3 hours, the Showgrounds is a great place  to visit, shop and relax  and has become a great meeting place for business with its 3 cafes.
 

January kicked off with strong footfall due to the great sales we had in stores. M & S launched its menswear range and also had great value co-ordinates in their lingerie section. They also launched Goodmove which is their new active range and 20% off in their their home section. In their food section they launched their vegan salad pot which was a hit with our customers. 

TK Maxx launched their active event so customers can look good while they get fit. Argos launches their new Spring Summer catalogue this Saturday 25th January. Dealz have some great offers in kitchen storage and cleaning. They are stocking  some nice cleaning sprays used by the one and only Mrs Hinch that are sought after up and down the country.

 Iceland promoted their new Slimming world meals and had a demo in store to educate customers around the food education. There was also a hamper up for grabs during this demo and a lady called Ann Morrisey was the lucky winner. 

​Sam McCauleys had a 3 for 2 offer on their health supplements and they are now also stocking the Lanai Blo hairdryer for all your fans of Love Island. Edinburgh Woolen mills have their massive sale of their Winter range.  ​
 
 Pamela Scott , Vila and Only have their spring collections hitting down and we are seeing freshness on a daily basis with their strong social media campaigns. Name it has great offers in their store with buy one get one free on kids sweaters and reversible jackets for only €24.99.

 
Blush are kicking off the new year with their million dollar facial and great vouchers for Valentines day. They also now have the Alumier Clay treatment to refine and purify the skin. Their nude nails were a big hit and you can check them out on Instagram.
 
BB's and Costa are catering for the vegan customer with their new Spring menus. Costa now offer almond, coconut and soya milk as a substitute for dairy. BB's new menu includes some new muffins and when you set your eyes on them you will have to have one. 
Shake Dog as usual providing great food at even better prices . Check out their tenders . Perfect for a lunchtime treat.

The Gourmet Butcher is producing delicious cuts of meat with his beef featherblade. They are also selling Turkey rashers which are a lean alternative if you still fancy an Irish breakfast but need to cut down on the calories.  Their Instagram page is a work of art. 
 

Golden Discs some new albums and DVD's in stock including David Keenan's new album ' A Beginners Guide To Bravery' . The movie Downton Abbey has just been released. Golden discs are now stocking a massive range of records and record players. There is something nicer about taking a record out of its sleeve and listening to music the old fashioned way.
 
Hale added to their flavours with their vaping and have a wide range of CBD oils in stock. It is worthwhile checking them out. 
 
​Quite a lot going on in January here at the Showgrounds. We are still doing our Autism Sundays from 11-1 where we turn the music off and give customers a stress free and quieter experience all round.
