We are delight to welcome all stores back on 1st December in the Showgrounds. Please check the trading times for the individual stores in the opening time tab above. TK Maxx for example will open from 8am until 11pm Monday - Saturday all through December so it can accommodate for customers at any time and M& S are extending to 8pm on Monday , Tuesday and Wednesday. Cafes and restaurants will reopen their table service from 3 days later Friday 4th November. Only will reopen under new management on Thursday 3rd December so we look forward to seeing them back in the Showgrounds. There will be no grotto this year due to the restrictions but we have heard Santa is busy in his workshop making toys for all the girls and boys. We ask all customers to wear a facemask in the Shopping Centre and adhere to the floor markings.
As of midnight, on Wednesday October 21st, the Government elevated the country to Level 5 restrictions for six weeks in order to combat the Covid-19 virus.
While essential retail remains open, it is so disappointing for many of our other retailers and their staff who have to close again. We know this is a difficult time for them, especially at this time of year. We wish them well and look forward to seeing them reopen again in early December. Shake Dog will close for the duration of the lock down. Costa Coffee, BB's and M&S will only be providing a takeaway service. Seating areas will be closed off but the cafes will remain open for business. Great news everyone. Edinburgh Woollen Mills is reopening today from 10:00 until 16:00. We are delighted to have Caroline and her team back with us. Over the last week they have been busy implementing social distancing to ensure a safe environment for all their customers. We wish them the best of luck on their reopening. The reopening of Edinburgh Woollen means that all stores have now reopened in the Showgrounds Clonmel with the exception of Only that have closed recently. From Monday the 10th August it will be mandatory for everyone to wear face coverings in the Shopping Centre, The health and safety of our customers and staff are our top priority. We will have signage at all main entrances. We will be carrying out regular tannoy announcements in the mall. Security will be informing people of the new Regulations if they are not wearing a face mask or face covering, We are all in this together and want to make your visit an enjoyable and safe experience. We thank you for working with us in creating a safe environment for all.
Costa is reopening on Tuesday 21st July. They have excellent social distancing in place and they have spaced out their seating area so that visitors can relax and feel safe all at the same time. We wish Melissa and her team the best of luck over the coming weeks.
We are delighted to announce that Bernard O Brien has set up his photography studio in the Showgrounds Clonmel. Bernard.
"I will operate from the same unit I was in at Christmas last. I will be doing a wide range of styles in studio photography from the classic to the more modern and also operate as a gallery where people can see the fruits of my labour and also hopefully appreciate the style and quality of my work, From here I plan to offer some amazing promotions With prices to match. image restoration and image printing will also be available. So when you visit the showgrounds drop by and view some really beautiful display images on canvas. I want to kick off the launch by offering this limited promotion of a sitting and three 8x6” prints of your choice for €59. To ensure safety images from the shoot will be emailed to the client to make selection and images dispatched to them within 24 hours I will be using a medium telephoto lens ensuring a distance of three meters from subjects. I want to thank Centre Manager Paul for all his help in organising this and for making this happen finally. So as usual please share this for me thank you so much in advance and I look forward to bringing many happy smiles to many faces Just a note this set-up is perfect also for newborn Babies on booking state its a baby as you will be requested to bring your own blanket to ensure anything the little baby touches is your own."
